Fall is right around the corner, and there’s now less than 2 months<\/em> until Cincinnati’s inaugural WordCamp on October 15th and 16th. Leading up to the event, we’ll be detailing our speaker tracks and introducing the sponsors who make our event possible. Call for Speakers Deadline\u00a0Next Week<\/h3>\n

Our call for speakers is quickly coming to a close, with just over a week until the deadline (August 31st<\/strong>). If you haven’t already submitted a talk proposal and are interested in speaking, head on over to our speaker submission form<\/a>. We’ve received an assortment of fantastic talk proposals, and we can’t wait to share them with you over the coming weeks leading up to the event in October! We’ll be contacting speakers in the next two weeks to confirm sessions, so be on the lookout for an email if you’ve already submitted a proposal.<\/p>\n

WordCamp Columbus This Weekend<\/h3>\n

WordCamp Columbus\u00a0takes place\u00a0this weekend,\u00a0August 26-28th, at the Columbus State Conference Center. Columbus is a short drive from Cincinnati, so we encourage local WordPress enthusiasts to attend. Tickets are still available and can be purchased at their\u00a0official\u00a0website<\/a>. A number of the WordCamp Cincinnati organizers will be in attendance, and we hope to meet many of you there.<\/p>\n
